Hide My Text encrypts supported content locally and gives you a protected version to share through the communication apps you already use.

Get Hide My Text
  1. Create a vault. The vault establishes the local identity and keys used by the app.
  2. Store the recovery phrase safely. Write the 12 words in order and keep them offline.
  3. Pair with a contact. One person creates a 15-minute invite link or QR code and the other returns a response.
  4. Verify trust. Compare the safety phrase through a separate trusted method before confirming the contact.
  5. Protect content. Choose a trusted contact, group, or broadcast list, then protect text or one supported file locally.
  6. Send the protected version. Share it through the email, messaging, or collaboration app you choose.
  7. Reveal it in Hide My Text. The intended participant opens the protected text or file in the app.

What the recipient needs

The recipient uses Hide My Text with the correct trusted relationship or approved destination state to reveal the protected content intended for them.

Current capacities

Each protected text item supports up to 100 characters. Each file operation supports one document, photo, or video up to 25 MiB. Revealed text clears automatically after 90 seconds.
