Create a Vault

Create a local vault and write down your 12-word recovery phrase. Hide My Text cannot recover this phrase for you.

Add a Contact

Create an invite, share it with the person you want to trust, and compare the safety phrase outside the chat transport before trusting the contact.

Hide Text

Choose a trusted contact, write your message, and create hidden encrypted text. Send the hidden text using any messaging app.

Reveal Text

Paste received hidden text into Hide My Text. Only the designated trusted contact should be able to reveal it.

Restore

Use your 12-word recovery phrase to restore your identity. Use an encrypted backup to restore contacts and local app data. Restored contacts may require re-verification.
